Well done beautiful

I know how hard it is to ask for help, to even admit you need help in the first place.

Too often we coast through life as a lone ranger, never really reaching out to anybody, but wondering why everyone else seems to have their lives sorted, while we feel so lost, confused or just unsure what the next step is to take. Where do we even begin?

I know because I have been there.

Five years ago my life was nothing like it is today. I was working a corporate job that drained my energy and I was not passionate about, I trained at the gym to the point of obsession, I put everyone before myself - family, friends, strangers - I even volunteered for a charity that I began to resent, because I had no time at all for myself. While I had the thigh gap and abs, and was eating #clean, ticking all of the so-called boxes, I was lacking complete wellbeing - mind, body and soul.

Then, I reached rock bottom.

Adrenal fatigue, anxiety, panic attacks, leaky gut, parasites, psoriasis - and just feeling very down and sorry for myself. I knew something had to change and it was up to me to make the changes. If I didn’t, I would just keep moving through my life as a spectator - feeling unhappy, unsatisfied and like something was missing. And nothing scared me more than that.

So, I turned my whole life around. And it wasn’t easy. But it was the best thing I could have ever done.

Today I sleep 9 hours, I wake up excited for the day, my health is thriving, my relationships are flourishing and I am so content with all areas of my life. I haven’t had a panic attack in more than a year. My happiness isn’t defined by the way I look. I finally feel like I am ‘me’.

And guess what my love?

You can do this too.
